Ramping up access to world-class digital skilling solutions & livelihood opportunities
The world is facing a learning crisis. Hundreds of millions of young people are not developing the skills they need for work, starting a business, or engaging in their community. The quality of and access to education and skill-development opportunities are limited, especially for the most marginalized.
We have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to ensure all young people have access to opportunities to develop the skills to realize their potential. But partnerships between governments, businesses, multilateral organizations and young people themselves are central to overcoming the skills gap, thereby supporting youth employment.
Generation Unlimited is supporting every youth to have access to learning, skilling, and livelihood opportunities by radically scaling-up access to world-class digital solutions that meet every young person’s unique learning needs and context. From artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning to digital learning platforms, we have the tools we need to craft a modern education whereby millions of young people can continue their education online, anytime, anywhere.
Together with public, private and youth partners, GenU is mobilizing financial, in-kind, and technical resources required for unlocking opportunities to develop skills—foundational, transferable, digital, entrepreneurial, and job-specific—that every young person needs and demands to prepare for a better future.
Together with Accenture, Dubai Cares, Microsoft and UNICEF, we have launched Passport to Earning (P2E), a cutting-edge digital skilling platform that will provide young people aged 15–24 years with free, world-class and job-relevant skills training and position them for employment opportunities. Built on the Microsoft Community Training platform, P2E offers digitized content provided by public and private sector partners.
