Young people around the world are transforming the world, particularly in education, employment and engagement in their communities.

Happy International Youth Day! August 12 is an opportunity to celebrate the young people of the world, the largest generation in history.

The theme of this year's International Youth Day is "Transforming education”, highlighting efforts to make education more relevant, equitable and inclusive for all youth, including efforts by youth themselves.
