Mr. Najib Matar
Member of GenU's Young People's Action Team
Mr. Najib Matar is a 19-year-old social work student from Lebanon and a member of GenU's Young People's Action Team. He is a researcher, social activist, and gender equality advocate. He has an international TOT in human development and a big experience in facilitating youth peer workshops.
Mr. Matar is also a member of the MENA Regional Adolescent and Youth Advisory Majlis (RAYAM) and was selected to be the Mayor of Impact 2021 at the Volunteer Circle and a lead facilitator of the Participatory Action Research.
Mr. Matar founded Act4Impact initiative in 2020 to raise and amplify the voice of the youth of Lebanon, and to empower them to participate in the decision-making level and so many other youth-led initiatives. He believes that youth are the leaders of today who will shape the tomorrow we all strive for.
