Bryan Youssef

Bryan Youssef is a Lebanese medical student at Saint Joseph University of Beirut, pursuing his MD and MSc in Biological and Medical Sciences, with a vision to specialize in vascular surgery. But beyond the white coat, Bryan is a powerhouse in education and health technology across the MENA region, driven by a mission to leave the world a little better than he found it.

In 2021, he founded EduBolt, an edtech startup reimagining student learning through AI-driven personalization and immersive virtual reality experiences. EduBolt has supported over 15,000 students in preparing for medical school, excelling in standardized exams, and accessing real employment pathways, while also generating more than 250 jobs for Lebanon’s youth.

Building on this success, Bryan launched Codubolt, a coding academy committed to shaping ideas one code at a time. With 25 school partnerships, a trilingual, gamified curriculum, and a strong focus on project-based learning, Codubolt is helping bridge the digital divide and equip the next generation with essential tech skills.

Bryan is also the co-creator of MaTense, a breast cancer detection app, and the developer of AskMelano, an AI-powered tool for early skin cancer detection. His healthtech innovations have earned international recognition and opened doors to strategic scale-up opportunities through global competitions and partnerships.

He is a laureate of the UNDP Youth Leadership Programme, a current member of its Youth Advisory Board, and an active speaker and advocate on youth empowerment, innovation, and education reform. Bryan’s work has been featured in regional and global forums, where he represents Lebanon with a focus on building systems that are inclusive, tech-enabled, and sustainable, and rooted in the power of youth to drive meaningful change.
