Team
The ambitious goals set for Generation Unlimited require a lean and flexible team that can harness and coordinate the expertise of multiple partners from around the world. The GenU Global Team – led by Director Roberto Benes – brings together professionals with decades of experience in field work in all regions of the world, including in multilateral development agencies, civil society and private sector. The team includes capabilities in education, skills development, youth engagement, innovation, partnerships, communication and advocacy, including experience from senior management roles.
The team is responsible for the overall coordination of the partnership’s activities, its relations with governance groups – including the Global Board – as well as the support and coordination of the partnership’s work in countries to develop Country Investment Agendas. The Global Team is also responsible for making young people’s engagement and participation a concrete reality.
