Lisar Morina, Digital Editor
Lisar is a communications professional with more than 6 years of experience managing communications and advocacy for international organizations. He oversees the production of complex outreach products that promote multi-stakeholder partnerships, and leads the conceptualization of content for multimedia. He also provides technical support to UNICEF Country/Regional offices, National Committees and Generation Unlimited Partners. Prior to joining GenU as Digital Editor, he was engaged with a range of international development organizations, most notably with the UNICEF Kosovo Country Office, and the Helvetas Swiss Intercooperation agency. At UNICEF Kosovo, he led communications and advocacy to support the global scale-up of 21st-century skills-based programs such as UPSHIFT, which helps youth from the most marginalized backgrounds build transferable skills. At Helvetas, he managed outreach funds, developed advocacy initiatives, supervised executions with communications agencies, and oversaw knowledge management & learning. He’s a writer and digital communications manager, with a degree in Journalism & Mass Communication from the American University in Bulgaria.
