Mr. Sobel Aziz Ngom
Founder and Executive Director, Social Change Factory
A Senegalese Edu-entrepreneur, Sobel Ngom is the Founder and Executive Director of Social Change Factory He holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications from École Supérieure de Commerce in Dakar (Senegal) and a certification in Civic Leadership from Wagner College, New York City.
For 5 years, Sobel has been the Head of Africa hub for Changemakers, a program of the renowned NGO Ashoka. His mission was to build an entrepreneurial mindset amongst a network of over 2000 young people from Africa and facilitate their access to life-changing opportunities.
In 2014, he founded Social Change Factory, a civic leadership center redefining civic participation among African youth and strengthening their leadership and entrepreneurship capacity. Social Change Factory covers 8 countries to date. Under his organization, the entrepreneur developed Voix des Jeunes (or Voice of the Youth in English), the biggest and most popular television program dedicated to youth empowerment in French speaking countries in frica, as well as several other initiatives strengthening youth education, skills and employability.
