Capgemini CEO Aiman Ezzat appointed Vice Chair of the Generation Unlimited Board
Ezzat will help mobilise partnerships for livelihoods pathways for young people.
NEW YORK, September 21 – Generation Unlimited (GenU), UNICEF’s global public-private-youth partnership for youth skilling and livelihoods, today announced the appointment of Aiman Ezzat, Chief Executive Officer of Capgemini, as Vice Chair of the Generation Unlimited Board.
A long-standing member of the GenU Board, Ezzat will support Board Chair Christian Klein, Chief Executive Officer of SAP SE, in guiding GenU’s strategic direction and mobilizing greater public- and private-sector support for its mission. Together with fellow Board members, he will help advance GenU’s work to equip young people with relevant skills and connect them to opportunities in skilling, employment and entrepreneurship.
Ezzat brings extensive experience in technology, business transformation and international leadership to the role. As Vice Chair, he will contribute to strengthening collaboration among governments, businesses, international organizations, civil society and young people, with a particular focus on preparing young people for changes in the global economy and the future of work.

Capgemini is a Founding Partner of Generation Unlimited, contributing expertise in artificial intelligence, digital transformation and the green economy to strengthen the connection between skills development and lasting employment outcomes. As the lead private-sector partner of Green Rising, Capgemini supports an initiative that has mobilized more than 45 million young people across over 40 countries and aims to reach 100 million by 2030.
The partnership also draws on research and technology to improve young people’s access to the green economy. Capgemini’s Global Youth and Sustainability research, developed with GenU, examined young people’s perspectives on climate change, green skills and employment, whereas through its Global Data Science Challenge, Capgemini also developed an agentic AI solution for UNICEF to help young people identify relevant training and connect with green career opportunities.
Ezzat’s appointment comes at a defining stage in GenU’s mission as it scales global efforts to strengthen the systems and pathways that connect learning to livelihoods for young people at scale. Progress at the scale required will depend on sustained collaboration across sectors, combining public systems and policy leadership with private-sector expertise, investment and access to labour-market opportunities. As Vice Chair, Ezzat will help GenU deepen that collaboration and translate shared commitments into tangible opportunities for young people.
