Youth Hub
India's national digital gateway connecting young people to jobs, skilling, volunteering and opportunity.
How it works | Our unique approach | Partners | Get involved
India is home to two in five young people globally. But more than 34% of them face major economic, social and cultural challenges because technology remains out of their reach.
Digital access is limited in India's many rural and peri-urban areas. And even where there are devices, young people are often unaware of the opportunities and resources available to them.
Youth Hub is a digital aggregator platform co-created by YuWaah at UNICEF India and partners. It brings together opportunities, tools, and platforms into one place so young people can more easily discover, access and pursue pathways to learning, employment and social impact.
How Youth Hub works
Youth Hub operates across three interconnected areas:
Digital – a web and app-based platform connects young people to bespoke jobs, courses and volunteering opportunities.
Government – Youth Hub is being incorporated into national and state government systems such as the national MyBharat platform.
Private sector and civil society – senior decision makers from businesses, international organisations and government guide strategy and unlock cross-sector opportunities.
Youth Hub offers:
- AI-powered job matching
- Diverse job opportunities
- Comprehensive skilling programmes
- Volunteering opportunities
- Multilingual accessibility
What makes Youth Hub unique?
Youth Hub is scalable. Memorandums of understanding (MoUs) have been signed with central government and multiple state governments to adopt and embed YouthHub at regional and national levels.
Youth Hub is accessible. An agreement with the National Skill Development Corporation will connect YouthHub to the government’s Skill India Digital Hub to support skilling and placement for 2,000 young women.
Youth Hub is unifying. As Youth Hub increasingly becomes the go-to national job and skills platform, young people can find and access opportunities much more easily.
